Eee PC laptops in their early models, were very small. Eee PC laptops were 7 inches and 8.9 inches. Since the release of the smaller 8.9 inch and 7 inch Eee PC laptops, consumers preference is for bigger. Keyboard size which is 92% or bigger is preferred and as a result, the small Eee PC laptops have slowly been phased out of production. Consumers have shown that the 10.1 inch, 11.6 inch and the 12.6 inch Eee PC laptops are perfect for mobile computing.

The next generation of Eee PC laptops will have Nvidia's ION graphics processor unit. Any Eee PC with ION will remove all graphic and video limitations of netbook computers. The ION based Eee PC laptops will allow users to finally have a great gaming experience, watch 1080p video and breeze through other graphical and video intensive tasks, The Eee PC 1201n will be the first ION based Eee PC laptop and is expected to be released in late 2009.
